I have a family dentist who pulled 2 of my 6 year old's teeth...He was great, but she needed more work done and really needed a pediatric dentist, who was better with kids.
I took her to Dr. Quackenbush and he wanted to charge us almost $2000.
I was referred to Dr. Kolinski by a pharmacist for a second opinion. She is very reasonable and takes Ameriplan- a discount dental plan.
She is working on my daughter's mouth in 3 parts instead of knocking her out and doing it all at once. My daughter was terrified at first, but the dental assistant calmed her down, gave her bubble gum scented nitrous and she did not even feel the novicane injection.
So far my daughter has only neeed a filling instead of a pulpotomy and crown that Quackenbush said she needed.
This doctor is so down to earth and her assistant is incredible. Now my daughter is looking forward to going back to get the rest of the work done.
