From August 1999 to May 2008, I received general and aesthetic dental care from Dr. Ronald Levin, DDS of Drs. Levin and Fetner in Jacksonville, Florida. During the nine years of continuous treatment, Dr. Levin performed numerous procedures involving the placement and subsequent modification of crowns included the irreversible (not necessarily) removal of the healthy tissue of my teeth. (22+)
In May of 2008, after expressing my displeasure with a visible gap between margins after the fitting of a crown, Dr. Levin became very angry with me and said that he would no longer provide treatment and publicly dismiss me in front of his staff.
New Dentist conducted a complete examination of my teeth and indicated that I require root canals for 2 of the 4 teeth that had recently been fitted and other crowns would have to be replaced. He explained that the defective placement of restorations resulted in gaps between the crown and bone margin is progressive “Caries” and because of “occlusal dysfunction” related to the improper fitting of crowns he would be unable to restore three of the teeth to good health, and they were lost.
I moved to WV in 2009 and continued to receive treatment to correct the defective dental work performed by Dr. Levin and last week I was informed that Dentures may now be my only option.
