I had 2 crowns with Dr Jafari. I was told before the procedure that I shouldn't worry about the costs, that they would be minimal and that I could pay later. When it came time to pay the price was not minimal. Because we had already started the procedure I went ahead and paid, in full. I was later told that they had made a mistake with the cost and that I actually owed them more. They finally told me that apparently Dr Jafari was not in my dental insurance plan, only her partner was. For this reason I had to pay considerably more than I should have.
In addition to the cost issue, my overall customer service experience was very poor. There was no communication between Dr Jafari's office and the perodontist that I was sent to which led to a lot of confusion.
I don't believe there was anything calculated in my treatment by Dr Jafari's staff (I don't think they meant to mislead me) but in the end, their lack of professionalism cost me a lot of money and time. Overall it was a very frustrating experience and I am now in search of another dentist.
