After searching for a decent dentist I settled for the Culver del Rey office in West LA. I will say they have a very nice and clean looking place but that's were my positive experience ended. I was assigned to Dr. Brand and had scheduled your typical routine cleaning but soon felt like I was being extorted. The dentist recommended I get some sort of deep tissue irrigation and antibiotic treatment. Since it was not covered by my insurance I insisted on the routine cleaning, as soon as I said this the dentists friendly demeanor changed to one of disinterest, there suddenly would not be any time to do my cleaning and I would have to schedule a future appointment for it, hmmm, had I not schedule a cleaning to being with? Also, do not expect their assistants to go out of their way to verify insurance coverage, you will be on your own relaying information back and forth between the office and your health provided to verify costs. After at least a 7calls to their office to clarify eligibility and costs I called it quits and found a new dentist. These guys cant seem to go out of their way to make sure they receive a fax or call an insurance company. I wasted countless hours on the phone and it was incredibly frustrating. Bad service.
