I have only encountered Dr. Qamar recently, but it has been quite a relevation. I found his practice to be extremely professional and informative with what appears to be state of the art equipment. He went to great lengths to explain my options and provide a prognosis. He has you pay up front but that is not really a problem as everything is thoroughly explained. After an initial consultation, I set up an appointment to have root canal redone the following week. Based upon the inital x-ray, the prognosis was less than stellar. I was given a price for if the procedure went well and a lesser one in case it was aborted due to unforseen problems. He was able to remove the crown and his prognosis was lowered to the point that an extraction was recommended. His secretary was charging me the reduced price when he called her aside. She came back and I was only charged a consult fee.
I wish I had found him sooner. I had questioned my regular dentist when having the crown replaced. The temporary came off and I saw that my tooth was black and had an odor. That dentist said he had noticed it but did not know why it was that way, glossed over it and proceeded with the crown. That crown has turned out to be a waste of $
