I found this dentist through my insurance. The clinic is called 'Aspen'. I went to get 2 amalgam (silver) fillings done and was charged for composite (tooth color) price which is more expensive and not covered. I found out that I was billed incorrectly and went back to request a refund. They admitted they made a mistake and promised a refund within 2 weeks. I'm supposed to get over $200 back. It's been 1 month now, I still dont get my money back. My mother is a retired dentist, she said this type of billing mistake is quite unusual. This makes me wonder how many people have paid without knowing they're wrongly billed. If this is intentional, it's very unethical. The place is part of a dental clinic chain and run by a manager. Dentists seems to come just to work as told and have no idea about the billing. I just want anyone who is a current or future patient to know that you should check the invoice carefully and ask for a breakdown of the charges. Another suspicious behavior of this clinic is they quoted one price and the actual charges turned out to be more. They make you sign the paper that says the actual charges could be different from the quoted one and you're responsible for all the charges. Hope this helps.
