I went to Dr. Combe for a broken veneer. We had a consultation and he informed me I should do a whole mouth restoration. He fixed my broken veneer for $400.
The next week I went to see the surgeon he recommended who was outstanding and did 7 implants. Those required 6 months' healing before proceeding with any cosmetic work.
One week later, the repaired veneer broke; I went back and Combe repaired it for no charge. It broke off again two days later. This time Combe had his assistant try to do the repair, and she ended up with a big blob of white paste on my tooth. Finally Combe came to help her. She reassured him four times that I was putting down my $20,000 (half payment) that day. I asked why I needed to pay 6 months in advance. They said "to do the top now." (The problem is that they told me it was critical to do BOTH TOP AND BOTTOM AT THE SAME TIME during my consultation.) I got out WITHOUT leaving 20k.
Two days later the Blob fell off. A local dentist fixed it, and since it has endured 5 months of apples, corn on the cob, etc.
Now I'm ready for the Cosmetics. I will not use Combe. I don't believe that one who took pride in his work would let me leave his office with that mess in my mouth.
About Hygienist: Assistants and staff --and Dr. Combe--were very polite and pleasant. Nice office. Big pressure sales. Way too hard core. I just felt the motivation was more "money" than "life changing dentistry."
