I have a lot of anxiety about dentists. However my son asked to see an orthodontist about straightening his teeth. Dr Dykes was very personable and my son and I warmed right up to him. He was patient, kind, and answered all of our questions while easing our nervousness.
I felt like he was an honest doctor. He informed us that my son wouldn't need braces for another year and sent us on our way. I really appreciate that he was honest about the work we needed and when we would need it.
I dread doctors offices but our visit to Dr. Dykes felt more like a field trip than a doctors visit. His staff is just as nice as he is. They treated my son like a respectful young man. They asked him questions directly and took his answers seriously. While they are gentle, they never babied him. He was just as pleased as I am with this office and I can't be happier that they are in Lakeway. They have video games in the waiting room but the staff got us back to the exam room so quickly that we didn't get the chance to play them which was fine with me!
I found Dr Dykes because he donated a $250 gift certificate to the Elementary School Carnival. I bid on the gift certificate and won!
