Just realized that I've been going to Apple Dental for 6 years ever since moving to Roseville, and never bothered to write a review. Shame on me.
So, who likes going to the dentist? Growing up, like most kids, I feared this semi-annual visit like the black plague. I swear, it was so painful, I have had lifelong suspicions that my father told them NOT to give me any anesthesia just so it would toughen me up. I guess it worked, because I have a pretty high tolerance for pain nowadays. By adulthood, dentists were the members of the medical profession that I no longer feared, but tolerated. My post-college dentist was a personable enough guy, albeit a little hamfisted.
So, maybe I'm a little desensitized to pain, but I swear, Dr. Kwong makes every procedure seem buttery-smooth. It's like, you're sitting there waiting for the novacane shot, when in fact he's already done it. Or, you have a cavity and you're listening to that thing spinning in your mouth, and you figure he's still prepping the tooth because you can barely feel any pressure, so SURELY it can't be the drill, but yeah, it's the drill, and before you know it, he's done with his work. I am not exaggerating.
