One front tooth missing 30+ yrs. Karn reshaped three front teeth + added one for a 4 tooth front. The side anchor crowned tooth had originally been broiken in half and below the gum line in the back and root canaled and pinned. Using this tooth as a anchor was foolish as there was barely a point and the point had a hole in it where the anchor crown attached; it was nearly flat and with a hole. The finished job was beautiful, however after eating fresh fruit and veges for a few months the nearly $8,000 cash in front teeth fell off. Karn glued it on and that lasted two years and it fell out again, Next time it was Gordon Scott, $4000 cash+ 550 extrctn& 900 root job, and his crown failed twice as he glued it onto an even flatter surface. The 3rd dentist who would not repair it because of why it shouldn't have done it in the 1st.& 2nd. place, there was not enough tooth exposed for a good anchor crown. Dentist 3 didn't do implants, he stated that had I replaced problem tooth been an implant, all would've been OK 1st time. Shame on Dr. Karn for being either greedy or ignorant. Both Drs. should've said, "get implant, come back." "IMPLANT, What's an Implant?" Do HomeWork!!!!
