I was extremely disappointed in the level of care I received. The lack of communication between the dentist and the patient in my situation was not only disturbing, but also very expensive. I went in to the office thinking the root canal I had for the first part was done. It was charged to me that way, and sent off to my insurance that way. There was zero communication. I believed all I needed to have done was the 2nd part (the crown). When the pain started again and became not tolerable, I called the office and was told it was her day off. However, she would walk a prescription in for a pain killer and antibiotics. I was first sent to 90th and Dodge and after an hour, I called back and spoke to the dentist herself who told me she was actually going to the pharmacy at 83rd and Center right then. After an hour of sitting there waiting, the pharmacist told me she didn't have proper identification with her. A caring and concerned dentist would have called the patient back and informed them... she let me sit knowing I was in excruciating pain. She should have refunded me for every single portion I paid for this tooth nightmare; instead I received a partial refund. I'm just thankful that in dealing with this disaster of an experience, I found an office with a friendly front staff and caring dentists. A pretty office means nothing without genuine concern and care of the patients that help to pay for it.
