Skill matters!
I was referred to Dr. Steve H. Chang for a periodontal treatment. I was very surprised of his competent level along with his style. I was very nervous when the procedure began. However, he handled the whole procedure very efficiently, fast, and was comforting along the way. At times, I noticed him moving his body around, sometimes switching positions with his assistant, in order to get to the awkward areas in my mouth. He moved his fingers and tools very effectively inside my mouth as if he was the iron chef putting a feast together. I heard him humming along as well, which dramatically eased my nervousness and body tension. This showed his confidence, skill, and his strategy to relax a highly intense situation (to both of us). The procedure ended painlessly fast! Well, I consider him highly skilled, which is what I am very satisfied about his practice and integrity level. In addition, Dr. Chang has a very cordial team Wendy, the Assistant, and Sue, the Office Manager. They appeared to have great chemistry, and complementing well to each other at work. Regarding his style, he maintains certain harmony in his office setting. I was told that he greets and feeds the beautiful tank of tropical fish (his pets) first thing when he arrives the office. He even cleans the fish tank himself! In all regards, I feel that he is a very experienced doctor, and has a lot of good qualities. Above all, my impression of his practice was as if I were in a concert, enjoying the conductor, who brings out a beautiful masterpiece of performance with pride, and enjoyed the applause at the end. I consider Dr. Changs work on me is a piece of art, that can only enjoyed by him, as a curator, and me, the audience, who benefits the delivery of his work. Thank you Dr. Cheng, Wendy, and Sue for job well done!
