I went to Dr. Richardson upon finding that she was a Delta Dental provider. When I arrived, I had to wait approximately 20 minutes to see someone. I met the Dr. and after a breif conversation, she subsequently left me in a room for another 20-30 minutes. Upon her return she suggested that since I did not have very good insurance benefits (Delta Dental),I should be seen at the Dental school. She remarked that she was jealous of their new facility, even though she seemed to have a nice office. I am a medical professional and would never have thought that another experienced professional would do this before even offering the service of a simple cleaning to a patient, Her office staff even made a comment about my shoe which broke when I arrived at her office. I did not know whether to take the comments about my broken she as concern or critism, as both the Dr. and her medical staff seemed to be concerned with this more than my teeth.
