I had a deep clean and some scaling root planing at his place.
The root planing is put something between my gum line and the teeth due to gum recess. After the filling, I found there is a crack beteween gum and teeth and my teeth was very sensetive. So I went back, he said he put too much filling there, that is why I can feel the crack. He said it is OK, so he did not do anything about it. For the sensetivitly, he sprayed something on my teeth which came off 5 minutes after I walked outside the room. The strange thing was he charged me for the visit later on.
First, if he had done a good job the first time, I should not need to pay the second visit. Second, during the visit, he basically did nothing except the spray. Consider the fact that it came off right away, there is nothing effective done.
I called them later on, they said their rule is you pay your every vist no matter it is a follow up or whatsoever. I was dispointed with him and decided to switch dentist.
And my second dentist told me that he doubted my prior dentist did the deep clean at all because my teeth condition did not look like a deep clean was performed recently at all.
