So there I was, eating a brat, and CRUNCH...I broke #30. Apparently, when the cavity was filled back in '98, all of the decay wasn't removed, so it sat and festered I suppose, until recently it got infected and broke. When I say broke I mean all the way across the filling, and a piece of the actual tooth broke off! Not pleasant...I called her office and had an appointment no problem. Dr. Temesgen was attentive, friendly, and pleasant, and her staff are exemplary. Her facility is brand new, in a brand new building. Super clean, hi-tech, and comfortable are my first thoughts. She decided to remove the old filling, clean out the tooth, and do a temporary crown in leiu of RC. There was a little pain, but I think it was unavoidable due to the infection, there was plenty of 'caine used. I will be going back to finish the tooth with her after the root canal. I can't say it was a complete success yet, so don't believe my star rating for that category;) So far I am very pleased, I'll keep ya posted.
