I went in because of a sensitive tooth. I simply wanted to have the doctor look at it and let me know if she thought there was a cavity that needed to be taken care of. If not, I was fine with the sensitivity every now and then. To make a long story short. Against my wishes the doctor insisted on a cleaning ( I had recently had one in another state), applying medication to what she thought were two sensitive teeth, and instructions to comeback to replace all my fillings and add a new crown. The initial cost I was quoted was $65.00 I ended up having to pay $250.00. The tooth is still sensitive. The nurse was insistant that I schedule an appt within 3 months. I refused and she still handed me an appt card on the way out!
