I have been to the dentist two times a year since I have had teeth and have never had a cavity until
when I was 29 I visited Dr. Payet and he told me I had four.
I went to get them filled and ended up in major, excruciating pain. He had drilled 3 of the teeth so far that all my nerves were irritated.
I was in and out of his office for at least 4 days, with no relief.
Finally he said I would need a ROOT CANAL in one of the teeth. You know the tooth that was fine before I had visited
at all. So I went from no cavities to a mouth of sleep preventing pain to a root canal.
After hours in the chair, Dr. Payet was unable to finish it. I went back another day and he still was not able to finish.
Mind you I am in extreme pain 24/7 with this tooth for weeks. I had pain shooting down my neck for two weeks because of how long he
worked on my one tooth with no results.
He finally sent me to an Endodontist, which he should have done in the first place if he did not have the experience and skills to
perform a root canal. This is after I paid him about $1,400 out of pocket. I then had to pay the endodontist in full.
It has been one year and three months and the teeth he worked on all still ache and are extremely painful often.
