Today is Feb. 23, 2007 and I just walked out of the office (Edward Rabinovich, DDS) in the middle, or I should say, the beginning of a root tip extraction. Why? After two painful injections of lidocaine with epinephrine to numb the tooth area, I was left in the room completely unattended for over thirty minutes. In fact it was so long some of the numbness had dissipated. If in fact Dr. Rabinovich was tied up with another procedure or emergency then someone in the office (Hollander Dental Associates in Carlsbad) should have told me. I am 57 years old and have had many dental procedures over the years but this is the first time I have walked out in the middle of one.
