I have been coming there for a long time- but only had my teeth cleaned and two very minor fillings. So when my boyfriend who has alot of dental work to be done needed insurance i looked for insurance that Lakewood dental arts would accept. After going there the first time he got lidocaine which he didnt want but the dr insisted he left with his face black/blue and swallen. The next time he refused the lidocaine and the doctor gave it to him anyways. Then one of the fillings must have a pocket where air is coming in and he is now in pain like air is hitting the nerve(no pain before the filling) he went back to explain and asked for a different doctor. The doctor wouldnt listen to anything he said handed him a perscription for penicillian- there is no infection the tooth needs to be examined and possible filled in better!
About Hygienist: She didnt know how to take x-rays, didnt know the tools the doctor asked for- and even dropped a metal tool in his mouth hitting his teeth and never said anything.
