Originally upon going to Dr. Adli, I went in for a broken tooth (no pain/wisdom tooth which I didnt know at the time). I explained this when I made the appointment and upon my arrival. Imagine my surprise when after all the x-rays and such, she told me the tooth needed a root canal. I said okay let's get it done. After the completion of the root canal and dental surgery to rebuild the tooth, I find out that they did not work on the tooth that I came in for at all. They worked on the tooth next to it. My dental benefits cover $2,000 a year, this root canal and dental surgery used the entire amount of benefits and I still had to pay $500.00 out of pocket. Not to mention the additional $175.00 for medication (valium) they insist I purchase from them in order to have the oral surgeon complete the work. They would not give a RX for the meds so I could just get it through the pharmacy and pay the co-pay. They told me I had to purchase it from them directly. When I brought the cost up to them and advised that my dental insurance indicated they would not pay the full amount because there was a cheaper procedure which could have been performed, they acted as if they had no idea what I was talking about. But then Laura the receptionist said, Oh, Im fighting that with them right now.
