Although he is very personable the last several years we have been subjected to constant sales pitches for high dollar elective procedures that were completely innapproriate.
I had trouble with a filling and have complained for 3 years about the pain. When it became unbearable I told him that it was the same tooth he filled that had been bothering me sporadically. The pain was spread over 3 teeth and I told him that I could not tell for sure, but the problem origianted with the filling. He refused to listen and tried to get me to narrow it down. I told him that all of them were painful.
He sold me a mouth guard against my protestations. I sleep with my mouth open and have no history or damage from tooth grinding. It did not work.
When I could not bear it any longer I saw an endodontist. He found the trouble immediately by taking an xray. The root in the tooth that had been filled was inflamed. A root canal fixed it immediately.
We wrote a polite letter explainign how we felt about some issues and discussed that we felt he dismissed my input. We got a very childish letter back that twisted our words.
