I'm not sure if he's the best in my area, because I live nowhere near his office; as I have moved around the southland I continue to drive to him from wherever (currently Whittier!), for this simple reason: he is an extremely good dentist. He is thorough, professional, friendly and reassuring and flexible in scheduling. His wife Dorothy, who is his receptionist, is also extremly friendly and helpful. Admittedly, I have not needed major dental work over the years, but based on how conscientious Dr. Keys is with dental cleaning and maintenance and minor cosmetic work, I would have no misgivings about having him do major stuff. Highest recommendations!
