My family went to Dr. An Thuan Tran D.D.S. because he speaks Mandarin Chinese, we assumed that he would give us good service. We were extremely disappointed. Not only did I recieve a very poor & rushed cleaning, I had to endure his malicious remarks about my mother's weight problems, & his insulting remarks about my smoking. He called my mother obese, and he droned incessantly about how as a smoker I am a second-class citizen. All off this while my mouth was open; when I was unable to respond wtih more than a grunt or a glare. He was so busy talking, that he did a haphazard job cleaning and polishing my teeth. He polished only the front-side of my incisors but not behind, & the chewing surfaces of my molars & wisdom teeth, but not the sides! He was so distracted, he let the drill-bit drill into my cheek! Overall he did a very poor job: my teeth were virtually in the same condition as when I walked in. He rushed my cleaning on purpose, out of greed: he had two appointments waiting so he rushed mine. He charges $65 for a clumsy & rushed cleaning, paid with cash, $20 more for an X-ray,and $95 per cavity filled. That is too much to pay for a rushed, sloppy, haphazard job.

About Hygienist: The hygienist was a young Chinese woman, I would have no complaints, except for the fact that she watched while Dr. Tran did a poor and sloppy job and did not say anything.
