I had a bridge fitted and placed by Dr. Makiyama. He took impressions on the wrong side. I had to tell him he took the wrong side. He was not paying attention. He did not take an impression of the "full arch" as I later learned he should have. The bridge did not fit well and I tried to tell him that. He glued it in anyway, said it would take time to adjust. One of the teeth that was part of the bridge structure began to hurt and he said I needed a root canal. The only test he did to determine this was to have me bite on a wad of cotton. I went to a new dentist who tested my teeth with hot and cold, carefully reviewd my bite and adjusted it. I did not need a root canal and I have an ill fitting bridge. I think Dr. Makiyama needs to keep his "head in the game" and not talk quite so much.
