Everything was rated very high, he's a good dentist, except for the price - one crown went from 196 (my share for a porcelain crown) up to 320 in one year. I realize that inflation hits everyone, but this seemed a little steep. Possibly dentists can charge what they deem fit depending on their location, staffing, etc.
Maybe his demand in the area as gone up as I see he's not accepting new patients, and has hired a part time dentist too. As he's a nice man, gentle and competent I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt - maybe his bookeeping dept. made an error last year.
