I went to Dr. Asinmaz is practice in Coral Springs, and after a complete examination I was told that I need a root canal, and crown, and had 14 cavities. I haven't been to the dentist in 20 years and believed what Dr. Asinmaz told me... I could only afford the root canal and crown, of which he charges me $2300.00. (with insurance). This was in September of 2011, on February 2012, my insurance changed and I had to pick another dentis, so I decided to go see Dr. Yanover and Salamon in Boca, since I had heard positive things about their practice. After a complete examination I was told I only had 1 cavity, and asked what the dentist that performed the root canal did not place the post… What?? I paid for th post, I didn’t know he didn’t place it... I have to say I am very disappointed, and will never go back to Dr. Asinmaz again... And by the way I reported the incident to the State Board of Professionals after 10 months, of investigations they didn’t do anything. I had everything in writing from both dentists... What does that tell you? Not even the state that supposedly regulates the doctors will make it right.
