Dr. Dal Santo seemed competent, but after paying $250 for a consultation with him and getting an obscenely over priced estimate for my wisdom tooth extraction, I went to Dr. David Ehsan who is also an oral surgeon in the same building. Dr. Ehsan was fantastic, he has an excellent bedside manner, beautiful facilities and the added bonus of being both an anaesthesiologist and affordable.
There is something certainly dubious about the Dal Santo operation, when asked why they were so overpriced (to Dr. Dal Santo's credit, he did return my call on this topic), I was told they have excellent customer service and patient care - however, it has been nearly a month and long after my insurance claims from Dr. Ehsan's office are filed and paid, my claim for the Dal Santo consultation is no where to be found. I called his office for the 2nd time and spoke with an extremely rude individual named Coi who basically told me it was not her problem and I will have to call the insurance company myself ! Upon pressing Coi, who was very defensive (possible sign that this happens often) I found that they hadn't even submitted the claim until yesterday ! All in all, a disappointing experience.
