Six months ago Dr. Dal Santo removed my wisdom teeth. Unfortunately I would definitely NOT recommend going here. First, it was very expensive, though to be honest this was of little concern to me-I was more interested in having a competent doctor than saving money. The office staff was friendly and helpful, the facilities clean and modern, and Dr. Dal Santo reassured me before the surgery, for which I was very grateful. So far, so good!
The problem arose a week after my surgery, when I noticed my right cheek was extremely numb. At my check-in, I mentioned this to Dr. Dal Santo, but he told me to wait for it to finish healing. 2 months later it was still completely numb, and by now it was clear I had nerve damage, so I went back to the office to talk about it. Although upset, I recognized it was a risk I agreed to and not a reflection of his skill as a surgeon, so I wasn't accusatory at all, just asked what I could do. I was stunned to find him completely condescending and rude to me. I showed him where the numbness was and he said, that's impossible, you don't understand how the nerves work (which is true, but I know where I'm numb!). Finally he believed me, but only after basically accusing me of lying. P.S. I'm still numb.
