I was referred to this endodontist by my dentist a while back. I was sent there to deal with a root canal retreatment. I had some prior root canals and crowns, but never had to have any retreatment. The services are expensive and as of yet completely unproven for me. I am still waiting to complete what I began so many months ago. And I am still have issues with swelling and fistulas, and several rounds of antibiotics. I have done copious amounts of research on line and am very concerned that I will end up having endodontic surgery beyond this one, and that will cost a lot more money. My biggest fear is in spending months trying to save this tooth, and thousands of dollars to just end up spending thousands more later to get an implant. I came in with full trust in this dentist, and I am concerned this may be misplaced and at the end I will be left majorly in debt and sent somewhere else for an extraction and implant I cannot afford. He is very personable, and I have had great conversations with him, I am just hoping that his motives for doing all of this are purely about what is best for me and not making a profit. Another issue, no payment plans. The services are very expensive and then you are expected to pay in full on the spot.
