Dr Higgins has a 'state of the art' cavity detector which beeps if there is something inside the tooth that needs to be worked on. According to this machine I had several teeth that needed to be corrected. Nothing was noticable from just looking though. I was immediately directed to scheduling without consultation for what exactly was to be done or what the cost would be, etc. I decided to get a second opinion which I found out that my teeth were fine and I had no cavities and havent' had in the past 2 years. This was a big turn off to me. Also, my son had some work done by Dr Elliott and I had to pay in full and file for insurance myself. But my insurance company paid Dr. Elliott directly so he had my payment AND my insurance payment. Getting the refund was quite difficult as well. Dr Elliott is a fine dentist but his office management isn't recommendable.
