Dr. Armstrong is competent, experienced and will level with you on your problems, but won't try to push any procedures on you. He gives you the facts and lets you decide. His staff is the friendliest medical staff I've ever encountered and his hygienist is superb. An added bonus are her therapy dogs, two little Yorkshire terriers who will greet you at the door and sit in your lap during your cleaning, if you'd like. I've never heard them yap, bark or seen them run around like crazy, so if you're not a dog lover it shouldn't be a negative. I'm a cat person, but they are little sweethearts and I find myself looking forward to seeing them.
A tooth extraction was painless (he uses a numbing gel before administering the novacaine) and it took him about 5 seconds to do what a previous dentist took 1/2 hour and a mallet to accomplish.
Dr. Armstrong's fees are a little higher than the average I encountered when calling around (non-insurance), but you get what you pay for and they are reasonable compared to some others I contacted.
