I have a resistance to pain killers. In high school, the dentist continued drilling even after i told him i could feel it, because he didn't believe me. As an adult, I woke up during oral surgery when they were cutting my wisdom teeth into 4 pieces to extract them. 16 years of no dentist after that! Dr. Fitzwater found that it took 3 times the normal dose to deaden me. He actually LISTENED. No one else ever bothered to do that. For the first time in my LIFE I can go to the dentist without trembling. I've been a patient for 5 or 6 years. We are moving to Denver soon, but I'll be coming back here to see Dr. Fitzwater.
