I'm a 54 year-old male with rather poor teeth. Though I've taken meticulous care of them, and rarely eat sweets, I've needed many fillings, root-canals, crowns, have lost teeth and bridges to replace them. Lots of money invested in being able to chew, and smile without shame.
Given my poor teeth, I've been in many dentist's chairs over the last ~30 years; I've seen poor, average, and excellent dental care. There are large differences in quality, though they are all about equally expensive in my mind. Even the "McDentist" offices opening everywhere, are no lees expensive than the traditional small practice.
What I like about Dr. Wilson's practice:
1. It's a small and personalized practice; no assembly-line here (as has become the norm in so many practices.) One Doc, and a few staff...
2. The work do there has been excellent.
3. Unlike many others who try to do every sort of specialized procedures, such as endodontics (think "root-canals"), and prostheodontics (think implants and bridges) to pump-up their profits, Doc Wilson knows his limits and will refer you to a specialist when it's in your best interest to do so. Unfortunately, this is less and less common these days.
About Hygienist: Excellent: thorough while being extremely gentle. I've never felt a bit of discomfort in her chair.
