I went in for a routine cleaning and was advised that I needed existing fillings in an upper and lower molar replaced.
After replacement of the fillings, I began to have pain and sensitivity to cold in the upper molar. Prior to the filling replacement I had no dental pain. I contacted the office and was advised that it may take several weeks for the pain to subside. After four weeks, I went back and was told that I needed a root canal and a crown. Dr. Wostrel referred me to an endodontist.
The endodontist drilled out the filling in the molar and found the tooth to be cracked beyond repair. As such, I am now scheduled to have the tooth extracted by an oral surgeon.
In addition to the cost associated with the filling replacement, I have also incurred the cost associated with the endodontist and the oral surgeon. Likewise, I have also had to take time off from work to see the endodontist and the oral surgeon.
Thanks Dr. Worst-Dentist-Ever!
