dr. paul has a very large, well administrated dental practice, with all of the latest equipment. the staff is professional and courteous. cleanings? efficiently performed. when i was having nerve pain, dr. paul referred me to an endodontist/friend. though i still have nerve pain, i'm not sure it was avoidable, unless dr. paul had tried an approach that avoided a full-blown root canal, which i now learn is an emerging philosophy with "typical" root canal candidates. was root canal was the only route. from a conservative or traditional outlook, probably not. with someone open to a more progressive approach to dentistry, at the very least, worthy of considerable dialogue. oddly enough, the endodontist appeared to be very competent from a technical standpoint, but utterly lacked bedside manner. perhaps the message in this for me is find someone who is very personable- someone who explains everything patiently-
