Dr Forster is very thorough and I've had a good experience with him. He does cleanings and all work himself -- he doesn't employ a hygenist. Dr Forster's hobby is storytelling, and he tells somes very entertaining stories as he does routine cleanings. I've been impressed with his work on both routine check ups and also more involved fillings, crowns, etc.
I had a better experience at his Van Ness St office. He recently closed that office and now works exclusively from his SW DC office. The SW office is small, dated, cramped and customer service has suffered.
However, if his SW DC office is convienient to you, I would definitely recommend him. He's across the street from Waterfront metro.
