Dr. Mongelos does great work and does not try to recommend unnecessary, expensive procedures (like many dentists do). The practice is also just him (and one staffperson), so you don't feel like you're in some kind of dental factory / assembly line when you go in for a cleaning.
In the past, I've always had a pretty serious pain in one of my gums whenever I flossed or the dentist poked there. Dr. Mongelos showed me a different method of flossing, which really paid off when I came back the next time and didn't have ANY pain at all.
Dr. Mongelos and his staff (just one other person) are EXTREMELY friendly, and I was able to get an appointment within a week both times I've gone there.
He works with both kids and adults, and I've never seen him in action with kids, but he seems like a very friendly guy and I'm sure the kids like him.
