I had a toothache and no dentist and found Dr. Shaw through my health care provider website. Granted I hadnt been to the dentist in about 4 years so I take blame for that. I was on time for my appointment, there's usually a small wait at all medical facilities, I waited 1.5 hours. I nearly left but the pain was so bad. After a consultation I was more than willing to try her out. She was very nice, seemed very knowledgeable and she made me feel very comfortable, even though the office equipment seemed a little "old school" i hadnt been to the dentist in so long I wasnt sure what modern dental equipment even looked like. Needless to say I saw her on 4 appointment for treatment of cavities. Seems easy right? Well several fillings later, after 2 cracked out and had to be replaced more than 3 times, and my teeth felt completely terrible every time i attempted to eat anything. I allowed her to try and correct the problem and nothing seemed to ever ease all the pain I was having. My solution, consult another dentist. My second opinion dentist informed me of several things that were done "wrong" or "not so right" that led to all of my pain. He had to remove or repair 90% of the work she had done. $$$ It was NOT worth it!
