When I had problems after the root canal he did, his attitude was to schedule appts every few months to see how it was healing and when it wasn't, his attitude was, "What do you want me to do about it? What are you bothering me for?" If you don't understand his rushed explanation, he gets angry. I felt very unwelcomed by him. And BTW, I spoke with my regular dentist about it and then went to get a 3D scan which showed the tooth really needed to be extracted.
