This was my first visit to Dr. Helsby and will be my last. She said I had 2 cavities after using some cavity laser detection tool. I am 40 years old and never had a cavity. During the holidays I flew back to Philadelphia to see my previous dentist who receive their DMD from University of Penn Medicine for a second opinion. I was told I have some stains but NO CAVITIES!!
Be very wary of these tools! The ADA does not recommend these tools due to the high rate of false positives.
