I had a very disheartening experience this week. I went in to have my teeth cleaned and xrayed. I was told that I needed to have a crown replaced and a filling replaced because of new decay. The cost of the crown, I felt was too high so I decided to do some checking on the internet and among some friends. The crown was $468 dollars more than the others so I decided to go to another dentist to have the work done. They did not forward the xrays to the new dentist as promised but I took the sheet they printed off showing which teeth needed to be fixed
Low and behold the new dentist did his own xrays which he did not charge me for. These teeth did not have any problems. I can only assume that they were trying to take advantage of an older retired person living on a fixed income. I would not recomend them to any one at this point. The new dentst did not charge me for his services today.
