First, Dr. Cheek is the most thorough dentist I have ever visited. She has taken care of my family very well. Work is done efficiently and courteously, and hygienists are friendly and efficient. Equipment is up to date, and office staff has watched our girls while my wife was pregnant having work done. The entire team is one of the most professional that I have seen.
Unfortunately, we have had to leave their office. My family fell on hard times, and my wife needs a substantial amount of work. After six years with one dentist, paying at time of treatment and never having asked for any help/reduction in fee, after much debate, I swallowed my pride and asked for consideration with price in light of our history. We were told that no assistance would be given, other than making payments. It hurt to know that our patient relationship meant so little, but business is business, even during hard times I guess. Another dentist with strong recommendations has since priced the same work at about 35% less.
If you're looking for a thorough dentist and team, you would be hard pressed to find better. Just know where you stand going in. Premium services usually have premium prices, and we can't afford premium anymore.
