I found Dr. Oh through the 1-800-DENTST number. Even tho' I've had another dentist for 20+ years, I wanted to try someone who would replace my old amalgam fillings with porcelain or resin, which my regular dentist did not want to do. (He would only use porcelain or tooth colored resins on visible front surfaces.) When I walked into Dr. Oh's office in Nov 2007 for the first time, I was impressed with its spaciousness & cleanliness, the free parking just steps from the door (great for my handicapped father!), modern equipment like digital xrays, digital cameras & digtal monitors, & a spacious bathroom right in the office. The day before having 4 amalgam fillings replaced, my co-worker told me not to replace them unless it was absolutely necessary. He replaced an amalgam filling, and his tooth cracked below the gumline 7 months later, requiring his dentist to remove the tooth. He's now awaiting an implant. Two minutes after starting to drill into my old filing to remove it, Dr. Oh said the entire wall of my tooth cracked. This required an expensive crown. I also required 2 addl shots for pain because I could feel the drilling. I've spent more in 3 visits than I have in the last 4 years. However, the work is beautiful!
