I was terrified at the prospect of having a root canal when my dentist for the past 20+ years assessed that to be the next step for treating a gigantic filling that had been replaced years ago and was now cracked. He sent me straight to Dr. Peterson using himself for testimonial to Dr. Peterson's skills as he (Dr. Corrigan) has all of his root canals with Dr. Peterson. I went, but only with the understanding that my first visit was to meet Dr. Peterson, gain an understanding of the whole procedure and bascially gain enough confidence to return - oh and for the Dr.'s to decide whether I'd need to start sedation before the procedure. Hey, I told you I was terrified. Well, when I returned home that evening and my husband asked "So, what did you think of Dr. Peterson? When I told him the procedure was done, he was floored! I echo sentiments expressed by each poster who commented on Dr. Peterson being focused on your comfort throughout the entire procedure. He is. His skilled hand actually put the root canal on par with having a cavity drilled and filled for me. Of course all the grinding and stuff for the crown was yet to come with my regular dentist, but that's not painful. Dr. Peterson is the bomb!
