When I first saw Dr. Aver for cleanings I thought she was great. She treated my 4 year old with such care and warmth, I was very pleased. Looking back I did not catch a few red flags. She did not like to answer any questions or inform me as a patient/parent. Then I had a tooth ache, she told me what needed to be done, then when I went in for the work it was something completely different. When I questioned her she snapped at me. To make matters worse there were billing issues. I was told my service would not be covered by insurance so they gave me a price of $550. When they found out insurance would cover half the price went to $1300. So I still owed the $550. After all this, I still had the tooth ache, I found a new dentist who took care of it properly.
