I found Dr. Volk when I moved to Chicago in 2014. He was very receptive to my fear of needles and shots and used/uses a smaller needle when I need to receive Novocain. He really listens to my concerns and is very conscientious about only doing work that needs to be done. My dentist in Cincinnati thought my crown should be replaced and not because anything was wrong with it. He just felt it was old. Dr. Volk won’t do that. I believe he only does work that is necessary in order to keep my cost down. And as a retiree, I really appreciate that.
When I returned to Cincinnati in 2018, I did not want to go to my previous dentist and drag my feed about finding one in Cincinnati. My brother and his family live in Chicago and I visit him a couple of times a year. So I thought, well why not continue to see Dr. Volk and that’s exactly what I’ve done. Yes, I drive to Chicago from Cincinnati for my dental work. And I could not be happier! I am so grateful that I found Dr. Volk and highly, highly, highly recommend him. (This review really does not do him justice.)
