Very nice dentist with a great personality. Unfortunately, he is NOT VERY SKILLED.
Originally went to him for a checkup/cleaning. Discovered 3 cavities. Two were cavities on the wisdom teeth and were fixed with minor fillings. Another was a deeper cavity on a lower molar which required a gold onlay. Here is where the problems began...
He had a lab mold the gold onlay and when I came back to have the onlay put on my tooth, it was too high (a bad fit). So rather than adjusting the gold onlay or sending it back to the lab, he started shaving away the upper opposing molar to make the bite fit. He ended up shaving away too much of my opposing upper molar tooth and it ended up being extremely sensitive to harder foods. Noskin claimed that he was just shaving away extra filling on the opposing tooth (an amalgam filling i have had for over 10 years - which has never given me any problems before). However, it was obvious that he took more tooth than old filling off because I lost the natural occulsion ridges on that tooth after he was done shaving it.
I went back to Noskin 5-6 times afterwards trying to get the previously good tooth fixed. He tried re-polishing the tooth, putting on de-sentisizer, and even removed the old filling and re-filled it twice. None of which worked. I will be scheduling an appt with another dentist soon.
DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST FOR ANY MAJOR WORK. For regular cleanings...he is okay. FOR DENTAL WORK THAT REQUIRES SKILL....I WOULD AVOID.
