Dr. Kohler's associate removed a filling from the wrong tooth, and didn't realize it until he stepped in to correct her. When the associate dentist started working on the wrong side, I immediately questioned her, but she assured me that she had the right one. Once her error was realized, she proceeded to remove the filling from the correct tooth, but by that time I had already suffered much pain from keeping my mouth open for an extra hour. When I went to check-out, Dr. Kohler tried to charge me $30 for the "misunderstanding" (which I didn't end up paying for). Only now, a month later, am I feeling less pain in that tooth that should't have been touched.
Also, he allows his pre-teen daughter to sterilize the equipment, a job that's dangerous for her and the patients. This experience not only left me stressed, it immediately forced me to pull my family from the practice and find a new dentist.
