The Dentist has a pleasant bedside manners and talks smoothly. I had taken my dental XRays from a previous dentist which were taken 4 months ago. They said they must take new Xrays. They do not use a thyroid pad. This has been in the news and though they may convince you that it is not necessary, it is a health hazard not to wear one during the XRays. Secondly, the dentist tried to extract more buck for the bang by recommending mouth gaurds. If your teeth are healthy they will find ways to keep you as a repeat customer. Then he recommended that I remove the cavity fillings and replace them with new ones though they were new fillings. The mouth guards and cavity fillings were completely unnecessary. But I guess this is how dentists like Dr. Barrix make money
