We were going to have Dr. Rodkey put braces on my daughter because I thought it would be convenient to have a dentist and orthodontist all in one. We went to our consulation visit and he said she would need four teeth pulled. I asked if she should be put under for this because she was only 12 years old. He did not think that was necessary. When we went in to have the teeth cut out he ended up cutting out seven teeth! the second half of this process she began to get uncomfortable, she whimpered and he scolded her every time she made a sound, a few times he curled his finger stuck it in her mouth and tugged on her face telling her to "Stop that" and that he would "make your mother leave if you don't stop that" keep in mind this was whimpering not crying. I don't even think many adults could have endured what she went thru. When we were done I knew I would never go back there. He then collected the inusrance to remove the teeth and also collected the ortho insurance but never put braces on her. I have been trying for months to get my daughters insurance back and he does not even have the decentcy to return my calls. No I would not recomend Dr. Rodkey to my worst enemy!
